About DockerState

DockerState answers the questions you ask before you write FROM: which tag is smallest, what OS is it built on, how many packages come with it, and how many known vulnerabilities do they carry today?

How it is made. An automated system pulls each image, measures it, records its packages and re-scans them for vulnerabilities every day, then rebuilds these pages. The methodology describes every step and every source. No figure is written by hand.

Independence. No project pays to appear here and nothing is ranked by hand. DockerState is not affiliated with Docker, Inc. or with the projects whose images it measures.
